Crash

Well, I have decided to write about something interesting, for a change ;)

Here, I will tell the stories of my many car/motorcycle crashes, which gave me the names: Crash, Mario Andretti, Evel Knievel, and my personal favorite, Launchpad! *LOL* (Launchpad is the crazy duck on the cartoon "Duck Tales" who drove a helicopter and crashed all over the place lol)

Most of the stories you are about to hear happened before I turned 20, and I was usually drunk, or on something... yes, sad, but true! I was a wild & stupid teenager, but my life changed completely when I had my first daughter. I was no longer a drinker and since I had crashed all my cars LOL, I didnt even drive much for a couple years.

That said, I would like to state that I really am an excellent driver! Its my favorite pasttime :) I drive fast, but cautious. In 16 years, I have only had 1 wreck, which was unavoidable on my part. I think that was the only wreck I've ever had with another vehicle. I would also like to say this: yes, I DO own the road! ;) & PLEASE stay in the slow lane when you see me coming! LOL (or I might have to tailgate your @ss! ;)

Ghost Ship

Another one of my favorites! Im still trying to figure out if it is really a great movie or if I just loved the beginning so much, that I have forsaken the quality of the entire movie.

I dont want to give anything away to someone who hasnt seen it, so the details will follow... Close your eyes if you dont want to know ;)

Something New

I dont have anything to talk about, but I have to write something new here, to get the last post out of my face ;)
Hmmm... what to say, what to say...
So did ya here the one about the...

The Butterfly Effect

I think this just may be the best movie I have seen! I watched it 4 or 5 times so far (lol) and still have not found many errors in consistency or believability (everything has an error or 2).

It is a story of how one action causes a series of reactions... time travel. Evan Treborn, the main character, (played by Ashton Kutcher, Logan Lerman & John Patrick Amedori), inherits his father's brain disease. The disease causes him to blackout during harsh moments, leaving him without memory of what happened. When he grows up, he learns that he can relive those blacked out memories by reading the journals he had written in at the time, and possibly change history in the process.

The editors cut had many more scenes, including 2 or 3 alternate endings, which I preferred to the theatrical ending.

Apparantly, it received some bad reviews, but I really can't understand why anyone would give it a thumbs down. It was awesome! The more I watched it, the more detail I found, instead of more mistakes, which is the case in most movies I watch.

I was impressed with Ashton Kutcher's performance, as I was with the performance of the actor who played his younger self. We are sure to see Logan Lerman in more films! The same goes for the actor who played 13 yr old Tommy, Jesse James. What a rage! Remind me to stay on HIS good side! ;)

BIG Thumbs Up! :)
